Paratransit and Accessibility
We provide a range of services to help people with disabilities and seniors travel safely, comfortably, and independently. Whether you need door-to-door paratransit service, a different paratransit ride option, help learning to ride the bus, or support finding the right pass, we’re here to make every trip easier.
Paratransit Service
Our dedicated paratransit service is a shared-ride, door-to-door service for people who are unable to use our local bus service on their own. This could be all the time, sometimes, or just in certain situations.
To ride, you need to apply and be approved. Eligibility is based on your ability to use the bus—not just your disability. The application process may include an in-person assessment with a short practice trip to see how you move, balance, and navigate a bus stop.
Service area:
Within ¾ mile of any scheduled bus route in the urbanized area of Clark County. See Service Area
Hours of operation:

Paratransit Rider Support
For Visitors
If you’re already approved for paratransit in another city, you can use RTC’s paratransit service while visiting Las Vegas.
How to Qualify
Before your stay with us, please send us proof that you’re eligible for paratransit in your home city. Please send this proof by mail, fax, or email before your arrival.
If You Appear In Person Without Documents
We may ask for proof that you live outside Las Vegas. If your disability is not apparent, you’ll be asked to sign a form confirming you can’t use regular buses.
If You’re Not Paratransit Certified Where You Live
You’ll need to send a note from a doctor or other proof of your disability.
