Call Before You Move

We recommend that our Paratransit customers “Call Before You Move” to ensure all pick-up and drop-off locations are within the Paratransit service area to continue to receive Paratransit service. Customers should call or check online before:

  • Moving to a new apartment or home that is potentially outside of the service area
  • Switching to a new doctor or medical facility that is potentially outside of the service area
  • Making career changes where the worksite is potentially outside of the service area

To find out if your pickup and destination addresses are within the RTC Paratransit service area, please enter your address into the interactive service map.

Paratransit Peer Review Study

The RTC commissioned Dr. Heather Monteiro from Hickory Ridge Group to conduct a peer review of other paratransit agencies across the country and any services they provide outside of the service area (OOSA). The study delves into their general transit funding sources, general operating characteristics such as service area miles and population, paratransit-specific operations, and other factors. Recommendations are provided toward the goal of achieving parity with peer transit agencies.
