Overview

RTC supports small, minority-owned, women-owned, and disadvantaged businesses through our Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and RiSE Program. These efforts help ensure our transportation projects reflect the diversity and strength of our community.

It is the policy of the RTC to ensure nondiscrimination in the award and administration of U.S. Department of Transportation-assisted contracts and to create a level playing field on which DBEs can compete fairly for contracts and subcontracts.

Reduced fare for K–12 students

Students in kindergarten through 12th grade can ride all local bus routes for half the regular price with a valid student ID.

Discounted monthly or semester passes for college students

RTC partners with NSHE colleges to offer special pricing for monthly and semester passes. These passes are available to active students, faculty, and staff at College of Southern Nevada (CSN), Nevada State University (NSU), and University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV)

What is a DBE?

A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) is a small business that is at least 51% owned and operated by someone who is socially or economically disadvantaged.
