Are You Eligible?

Paratransit services are designed to provide equal access to public transportation for those with disabilities. You may qualify if, because of a disability:

  • You cannot independently travel to or from fixed-route stops.
  • You could use an accessible fixed-route vehicle, but the necessary route is not accessible.
  • You cannot independently navigate the system even if you can board the bus.

Important: Eligibility for RTC ADA Paratransit Services is not a medical decision. It is based on your ability to use public transportation, not a doctor’s prescription. You may need to attend an in-person interview or a functional assessment as part of the certification process.
